Scientists Still Can’t Explain.

ANDREWSARCHUS

pinimg

Andrewsarchus lived during the Eocene epoch, roughly 45 and 36 million years ago. Only known from a single skull. Studies have placed Andrewsarchus in the 1000 kg size range. It possessed some of the strongest jaws ever evolved in a land mammal. Andrewsarchus may have fed on beached primitive whales.
