There are times historians find some mysterious objects they can’t even explain. Relics from all over the world, some very old (we are talking about several centuries ago) some quite modern, but unexplained. How did they get there? Who built them? What are their meanings? All mysteries unsolved. Even after years and years of rigorous study and research, scientists have no clue.

Some scholars theorize the Dogū acted as effigies of people, that manifested some kind of sympatheticmagic. For example, it may have been believed that illnesses could be transferred into the Dogū, then destroyed, clearing the illness. One thing is certain: some of them are ten thousand years old.
THE COLOMBIAN GOLD PLANES
The Quimbaya artifacts are several dozen golden objects, found in Colombia, made by the Quimbaya civilization culture, dated around 1000 CE, a few of which (the so-called Quimbaya airplanes) are supposed by ancient astronauts theorists to represent modern airplanes, and therefore to be out-of-place artifacts.
A rat king is a collection of rats whose tails are intertwined and bound together by one of several possible mechanisms, such as entangling material like hair or sticky substances like sap or gum. The number of rats joined together varies from a few to as many as 30.
Rongorongo is a system of glyphs discovered in the 19th century on Easter Island that appear to contain writing in a lost language. To date, after numerous attempts the tablets have not yet been decoded.
