So Andrew apparently said he came from the year 2256 when the economy had collapsed and he said he was the one to come back and save it. While it certainly attracted a lot of media attention, the whole thing turned out to be hoax that one of the newspapers were actually in on!

So Andrew didn’t actually save the economy, but he did manage to pocket himself some media fees in the process. Cheeky! What makes the story weird is that he actually disappeared in the year 2014 after apparently making $350 million from $800 worth of investments. Maybe he did know something we don’t?

Perhaps one of the most famous time travel conspiracies of all time is that of the Montauk Project. In fact, the hit series, Stranger Things, even referenced it in the storyline. Several credible sources have come through to talk about their experiences at the now closed air force base.

Stories include being transported back to the 1940s, as well as being involved in very strange experiments and alien meetings. Disaster struck in the early 1980 when an experiment when horribly wrong. Many of the participants were apparently brainwashed in order to wipe their memory of what happened. Freaky.
